Life — a Vacation!

I wrote a response today to a fellow blogger. I’d like to share it with you to know what your thoughts and feelings are about it. Here’s the response:

It’s good to have some goals and achieve them. Achievements give us a sense of fulfillment, but when you’ve already achieved great things in life, you realize that what matters really is that your living and celebrating life. Life for me is a vacation — something you savor, something you are excited about, something you want to enjoy. No pressures, no worries, just clean fun and silly giggles. 🙂

Love it! Great attitude and I love the metaphor, ‘life is a vacation.’ 🙂

Easier said than done. 😉 To me, balance is always the key. But yeah, you’re though. When everything is said and done, it’s the “life” you lived is what’s gonna matter and what you’ll remember. So i say never get too caught up with the goals you set but have fun in the process.

You’re actually right, Rommel. With the complexity of life we have today, it’s not going to be easy for any of us. I think we have made it so much hard to live our lives, when in fact we only need enough in order for us to live to the fullest. Almost everything is equated to money nowadays. But anyway, yup, balance is the key. We have to enjoy while also working to survive.
